Some “Custom CSS” on the “Plugin Options” screen of TablePress like
.tablepress-id-123 {
width: 300px;
float: right;
}
should probably be sufficient. For more details, I’d need to see the page with the table.

I’m going to make these into 1 x 1 tables and use for call-outs of quotes, term definitions, links, etc. (extra info related to the main blog post).

I know this is an older thread, but I’m running into a similar issue. I was able to change the size of my table and float right, but the text on my site still isn’t wrapping.
