Please provide links to a few pages on your site that are not working.
The pages on the site are working fine, it’s just when I try to validate them on Pinterest that I have a problem. If you go to https://developers.pinterest.com/tools/url-debugger/ and enter some URLs from the site it will say that it can’t retrieve the title or favicon. For example, here are two URLs of blog posts that you can try with the validator:
– http://loadedlandscapes.com/exposure-compensation/
Pins from the site are not showing the site name or favicon like rich pins normally would.
The Pinterest debug tool errors with ” We were unable to retrieve any data from your URL.” Pinterest uses the same meta data as Facebook so I ran the Facebook debugger and it works. Pinterest can also see other types of meta data so I ran Google’s structured data tool and it works as well.
This would imply Pinterest cannot reach your server to scan the meta data on your site. Please contact webhost or server admin for assistance allowing Pinterest access to your site.

Hi loadedl,
Did you work out how to solve this issue? I am having the exact same problem. Pinterest can validate my Rich Pin data but not my Site Name or Favicon – it is extremely frustrating! Everything is set up within Yoast, my site and I have checked with my host and there are no server errors.
Any help / advice would be a great help 🙂
Thanks!
