• I’m using Booked appointments plugin and everything works well with your plugin until it comes to click on the Submit Request For Quote in the cart page.
That then goes to checkout page. If I fill in billing details, everything then works as required, but I want to skip the checkout page (as the price obviously hasn’t been set yet).
In Woocommerce>Payment I only have RFQ set and under ‘Manage’ option, I have ticked the ‘Skip Payment for Quote Requests’ option.
There’s probably a really simple setting that I just can’t find to skip the checkout page. I’d appreciate a pointer.

Please remove “skip payment”. In your setting “RFQ”, the checkout page is where the quote request is submitted. Order saved with “quote-request” status. Customer recieves confirmation without prices and admin is also notified ( just as in a normal order) . In the free verion, after you have adjusted prices and agreed upon a price, then you change the status to pending payment which sends an invoice to customer automatically. In the premium version there is an additional status “quote sent” which allows you to track (in the dashboard and orders page) between “quote requests” and the requests that have been answered. Test one to the end and you can see the flow.

“RFQ” setting is for shops that only allow quote request. If that is not your setup, you can try the “normal checkout”. Turn some of the items into quotable items in the advanced product setup. Only prices for those products will be hidden. Customers can submit quote requests for those items without going through WooCommerce checkout.

I’ve changed those settings but still having trouble. I’ve tried the Normal checkout, but because I am using BoxyStudio Booked and the product is a booking, it doesn’t show a product page and therefore the order goes straight through to processing via the cart.
So, I’ve switched back to RFQ mode.
As I obviously can’t skip the checkout page, is it possible to switch off fields for RFQs only? I know that will be an edit to the functions.php file I imagine, but wondered if you’d had a similar request before?

“d the product is a booking, it doesn’t show a product page and therefore the order goes straight through to processing via the cart.”
Have you setup the product as a quote item in the advanced setup?

    “BoxyStudio Booked”
I am not familiar with this plugin. is this a WooCommerce compatible product type?. Does it show as a product type in the product dropdown box?

If not, then that is partially the problem. This plugin is quote request for WooCommerce products only.

    Yes.
If I go direct to the product page, I get the RFQ enquiry fields that I can edit. Because it is done via Booked, it goes direct to the cart.
That isn’t a problem, works okay, but I don’t want to have the checkout fields in there. If I can turn them off specifically when I am checking out via RFQ then that would be ideal I think.
