    Hi
I have accidently updated the plugin from 2.9.2 to 3.0.8.
The 2.9.2 version was modified by us to fit our needs.
Now the upgrade had overwritten these modifications.
I have a full backup of the site from before the update, so I hope it is possible to revert back to the older version, using the backup files.
How should I go about reverting?
Should I first install the unmodified 2.9.2?
Then overwrite the wp-members directory via FTP, with the wp-members from the backup files?
Should I revert also the whole site’s database to the backuped version?
    Thanks

There were some changes in the plugin’s settings from 2.x to 3.x. However, this was done in a way so as to leave the settings in a way that would allow rolling back to 2.x.

So it may be possible for you to roll back to your backup with the previous version. However, if possible, it would be preferable to revert to a database state prior to the update as well, primarily the wp_options table.

    Thank you
I have restored the whole site from back up and that reverted back to the 2.9.2 modified version
