  • Spam message being comment?
What do you use as anti-spam plugin?

I dont know, the one that comes with wordpress when you install it. When you goto the comment tab, you can approve message, and you can mark them as spam. I want to be able to retrieve the spam messages.

If it is Akismet that you’re talking about, then it has its own page in the Admin panel (also under comments) where it keeps the spam it has caught for a set number of days, unless you delete it earlier. Once it’s deleted it’s gone.
This is assuming that you have activated the akismet plugin, which you’d remember doing because you need to enter the API key to do so.

I think he is talking about the WP moderation. If no other plugins (Aksimet, SpamKarma) are installed – then the comments marked as “spam” should be in your database flagged with ‘spam’ – for future reference for plugins like Akismet that can learn…

Is there a way to unmark them as spam/retrieve them? I accidentally did the same thing.
