Retrieve media-tag from url

Hello.

How can I retrieve the media-tag from the url?

Example: http://www.mydomain.com/media-tags/gallery01/

I want to get the ‘gallery01’ part from that url so I can use it with the get_attachments_by_media_tags() function in a template file to display the related pictures to that media-tag.
