Restricting WooCommerce customers

    I am building a site for selling spares to customers. I don’t want anyone who isn’t a customer to even be able to see the shop pages.

    I downloaded and installed the plugin but in the user level restriction messages I can’t see an option for ‘customers’. This is a user type created by WooCommerce.

    Can I add this user type?

    Hi Andrew,

    The “customers” role is a custom role, and Restrict Content does not support them at this time. It’s something we’re planning to add in the near future, but I don’t have an estimated date yet.

    Ah that’s a shame. I’d happily pay for that feature!

    For this plugin, we’re about to ramp up development to bring in some new features. That’s one of the first ones on the list, so keep an eye out for that if your project’s timeline allows.

    We’ll be releasing support for it in our Restrict Content Pro product soon, likely within the next 30 days.
