It’s not possible right now, but we’re working on a big update that should be out tomorrow or Thursday, and we’ll be sure to include an option to specify a character limit! Thanks for the suggestion!

Also, I was wondering if it’s intended for the function to not display a message if the submit button is pressed while the character limit has been exceeded.
The submit button should be deactivated/grayed out if the character limit is exceeded, so you wouldn’t be able to submit a review if the character limit is exceeded.
I’ve checked if this happens with Firefox, Chrome and Internet Explorer.
All three don’t have a greyed out button, but it is deactivated in the sense that it doesn’t respond to clicking.
