Restoring Nav, Content and Sidebar background

While I was editing my masthead.php file, somehow the white background for my navigation bar, content section and sidebar disappeared.

I’m using the Forever theme. I’ve searched all over and tried Firebug but can’t figure out how to restore it. So frustrating, especially since I was working in the masthead, not the content section or CSS.

I’m sure it’s something I’ve overlooked, but I can’t figure it out.
