I had a 2.1 blog running just fine this morning. I upgraded to 2.2 and the whole thing went down. I probably did a bunch of bad things along the way, and here’s what I’m left with now.

I have a brand-new install of 2.2 working just fine. I have the backup files that were made before the first attempted install. So, I need to import the backup files, right?

Here’s where I’m clunking my head: I’m hosted on LunarPages, and I’m not much of a code guy. When I open phpMyAdmin out of my LunarPages control panel, it doesn’t seem to see ANY databases, including the new clean install of 2.2. I’m sure there’s some string I could type to help phpMyAdmin find the database, but I don’t know what it is.

I think I can run the import from there, thanks to the links I found on this site. But I’m kind of stuck until then.

The blog is up at http://www.thomz.com/wordpress and the backup files are at http://www.thomz.com/wordpressBACKUP

    Thanks!

I tried logging into my phpMyAdmin again, and the database was there. Now everything is working swell. Sorry to be a pest!
