I have been doing daily backups with the free version of Updraft Plus and getting success notices. Now, because the morons at my present ISP have hijacked the site and locked me out, I need to get at the backup, but I have no idea where it resides. Do I need to get the premium Updraft to do this?

    Hi,

By default UpdraftPlus backups are stored in the “wp-content/updraft” folder of your WordPress install. You can download them via FTP/cPanel File Manager.

Please check FAQ for more info – https://updraftplus.com/faqs/please-can-mr-updraftplus-send-mr-customer-copy-backup-set-thanks/

    Thanks,

Hi, I lost my blog during migration from one host to another so went to google drive to get my back up but the only files there are:
    Plugins
    Themes
    Uploads.

Where are the ‘WP-‘ files? I’m lost.

    Hi,

As a first step you will need to install a fresh WP install so WP files is not needed. Once you have installed a blank WordPress site, install UpdraftPlus plugin and upload the database, themes, plugins and upload files then run the restoration wizard.

For a step by step restoration please check this guide here.

    Thanks,
