Restore from backup

    Hello everyone. I was creating a site with WordPress in Ubuntu 15.04 but i had to switch to Windows. I have made a backup of the database and now i have a .sql file and a folder named wp-db-backup which i think could be the databes. I have also made a backup of the whole WordPress folder. How to properly restore everything on Windows to go back to work?

    Hi,

    Copy the wordpress folder to the www folder in the windows.
    Then we have to create the database and import the sql file to the new database.Then change the database username and password in wp-config.php file.Then your site is as it is as in ubuntu.

    Ok thanks, nowhow can i access to my wordpress start page? I don’t know what to type in the adress bar.
