Restore database | WordPress.org

Hi,

I need to restore a database and followed the instructions from here: http://codex.wordpress.org/Restoring_Your_Database_From_Backup

But (as usual) I got an error and it said “Duplicate entry”.

Should I delete all tables before I upload it?

If you are importing the same database, yes. You will need to drop (delete) your tables first. Backup what you are about to drop (delete) first.

Ok thanks!

I’m still unable to reach my test-site “test.prema.se/wp-admin/”. It directs towards “prema.se”, so if anyone knows how to replace the domain I would like to know.

You will need to edit the database you have running in your test site. Follow the steps to Change the Site URL in the Database.
