REST API inaccessible

    After the last update (2.8.4) one can no longer access REST API without being logged in. If I downgrade this plugin it works again. The option to allow REST API is still on.

    WP 7.0.2, PHP 8.5

    Same problem here.

    I run a crypto payment gateway. We send payment notification webhooks to merchant sites, and our requests to a site using this plugin are being rejected, we are getting this error

    Only authenticated users can access the REST API.
