REST API Deprected

    I was looking for a way to add markers automatically (and add them to layers) when the user fills out a form in the Formidable plugin. I thought the REST API would do it, but I note that the documentation says it is deprecated and calls to it do not seem to function. Is there a way to accomplish what I want?

    Hi,

    thanks for your feedback – the current REST API will actually not be discontinued but replaced with a more WordPress compatible API. This new REST API will likely be not compatible with the old one due to huge updates coming with the next pro release, so I would kindly suggest to wait a bit longer until Maps Marker Pro v4.0 is available.

    I am having the same trouble with the REST API not working, but I was under the impression that the API calls would work until version 4.0 is available. I thought by “deprecated” you all meant that it would no longer be supported and was slated for elimination upon introduction of 4.0. Am I wrong, or should the REST API be functioning for me? (perhaps I am using the wrong syntax)

    Hi,

    the APIs available with v3.1 should be working respectively are we not aware of any current issues. Nevertheless as mentioned before, if you plan to use one of our API and haven´t started the implementation yet, we suggest to wait until v4 is available, as there will be breaking changes.
