We have received an increase in REST API denials over the past 30 days. Our setup initially had “Block access to user data via REST API” enabled. I disabled that to troubleshoot and allowed the namespaces but we are still seeing denials.

Our current configuration is for “Block access to WordPress REST API except any of the following” along with the allowed namespaces below.

Namespaces in question:
contact-form-7
mailchimp-for-woocommerce

How can I prevent these namespaces from locking out my users?

Could you share a screenshot of your REST API settings and a screenshot of those blocked REST API requests?

Hi, @gioni were you able to look at the screenshots?

I still am having users get locked out due to this issue.

Hi! Everything looks normal on your screenshots and settings. Those REST API requests were blocked because the IP address was locked out at that moment.

Also, note that “Block access to user data via REST API” feature has nothing in common with your namespaces: contact-form-7 and mailchimp-for-woocommerce.
