Hi,
If you have the following feature enabled Disallow Unauthorized REST Requests:, can you disable it. This is located in WP Security -> Miscellaneous -> WP REST API.
Kind regards
Thanks, I knew it was there but couldn’t remember where. However, I was surprsied to see that this feature was not checked, as I thought this was what was blockng the plugin. Is there another setting that could be stopping the Redirection plugin from creating redirections? Presumably this plugin needs to be able to write to the htaccess file.
Hi, in that case try the following.
Disable all Firewall rules, then carry out a test. If it works then you know that it is one of the Firewall rules that is conflicting with your Redirection plugin.
Let me know how you go.
Kind regards
Thanks for the fast response. I tried that and it’s still not working. I am still getting the error “There are some problems connecting to your REST API” from the Redirection plugin, even though this is not checked in the miscellaneous section.
Okay lets try something different. Disable AIOWPS plugin, is your issue resolved?
Regards
Thanks – I had the same thought, and it didn’t solve the problem. As the site is just one page I reinstalled wordpress and the plugins, including AIOWPS, and recreated the page. That seemed to solve it.
Thanks again for your help.
