Responsiveness problem: Gap and overlap

Hello. Thanks for this great plugin.
I have a problem though. The responsiveness is working fine except for one major thing. When enter the site with the slidshow with a big browser window everything looks fine. And when I resize the window to make it smaller it still looks fine. BUT when I run the next image in the slider it keeps the right size but now theres a gap between all the images instead of back to back(?) as it should be. So the slider somehow keeps the same distance as the big browser.

This will also appear in reverse (even more clerar maybe) Because if I start with a small browser window en refresh the site ant then make it bigger the images scale up but not the actual distance between them. So it this case the images till overlap each other.

Hope someone can help me out with this!
