Responsive Menu button
-
Hi folks
Not usually foxed by stuff like this but this one has got me. Hoping someone can help. First post in this forum, be gentle!
I started doing a charity site for a friend of mine a couple of years ago and created a child-them of the twenty-sixteen them, mainly, if I remember right, to get a static custom logo in the header.
https://burytownpastors.org.uk
Very little happened with it until a month ago when I revisited it and had to get it live. As part of the process I accepted the default upgrade to WordPress 4.9.8.
The problem is the responsive menu button. When viewed in any browser in mobile phone format the Menu button does not work. All the forum posts I have read suggest disabling plugins – I had no plugins enbabled at all (I have added Monster Insights since and Google analytics) but this problem existed before then. I have removed every bit of custom code one by one to no avail.
I know it used to work as I have an older dev version of the site at http://mdten.co.uk/burytp/ which still works fine. I can only suspect this is an issue with the twentysixteen theme that has been affected by this upgrade.
Is anyone able to help me with this one remaining snag on this site, or point me to a forum or resource that might be able to help?
Thanks in advance,
