Responsive Gallery Close Button

The gallery images display fine via responsive environments. However, there’s an issue with the close button on certain devices like iPad 1 and some mobile. With some devices you can click on the “X” and it closes. Other times it only closes when pressing outside the lightbox image area (in the black).

Is there a solution for this?
