hum I have the same problem. I have a header image that is 950 px x 170 px
but it displays at a third of the size and doesn´t look good.
Any ideas?
My WordPress theme is DMS. Plugins are:
– Contact Form 7
– Ultimate TinyMCE
– WordPress Slider Plugin
Would this be sufficient info? I’m really a novice here and so new to WordPress so would need a lot of help and guidance.
If you look under Settings > Media – you can set the image sizes you want to be automatically created when you upload an image.
http://codex.wordpress.org/Settings_Media_Screen
Then when you insert an image into a page or post, you can pick which size:

BTW, you may want to use the developer’s dedicated site for help with how your theme works – I think it may be pretty specialized – as they don’t monitor the theme-specific forums here –

Thanks Wpyogi. I tried resizing using the fields on the right side as per your link. I will contact the developer.
