REsizing logo

Second question,

Is it possible to resize my logo without making it a horribly small resolution? Every time I upload a larger resolution that I like it takes up half the screen because I guess the theme doesn’t shrink it to fit within a certain boundary. I guess my question is, can I set this boundary?
