    How can I change the max height of the header image? I don’t want people to have to scroll down in order to know there is more content. Thanks.

    You can do something like this from a custom CSS plugin:

    .has-banner, .overlay {
    max-height: 500px;
}

    Or even cooler you can leave the height as it is and target your first section from the welcome button.

    I targeted my first section of the home page from the welcome button, but now that is hidden under the menu after you click on the welcome button?
    Is it possible to put the menu bar at the top?

    No, but you can target the menu instead of the first section by adding #site-navigation.
