While waiting for support,
remove Specific URL for after Login then set “Where to after Login?” to “Omit ?redirect_to= from URL”.
You don’t have specific url anymore to redirect your user after they login but password recovery url in emails will work fine.

I tried your suggestion, but now clicking the password reset link takes me to this error message: “Your password reset link appears to be invalid. Please request a new link below.”

Same problem. The reset password link doesn’t work. It goes back to the registration / login page which is a public page. I made an exception for the password reset page but the reset password link doesn’t work.
This was discussed in another thread. Listed as a possible bug.

I am also experiencing this problem. Setting the landing location to the home url works (as suggested by #markhx), but prevents users from following external links to specific pages.
