Are you using the version that was released last week, 3.1.4 ?

Hey John,
Email us at support at maxfoundry dot com. Thanks!

Note that the reset plugin does not fix any bad URLs that are in your media library. For that we advice users to backup there site database, install and run the Better Search and Replace plugin. You can review the URLs in your media library with the page include in Media Library Plus Reset plugin, View Attachment URLs and determine if you need to use Better Search and Replace. After running Better Search and Replace then you should do the Media Library Plus reset.
The BAD URLS do not seem to be an issue.
Here is a sample of two Display Attachment URLs. Copy and past either one and the image shows as expected.

363 http://www.hmamembers.org/wp-content/uploads/common/top-nav-bk-repeat.jpg
364 http://www.hmamembers.org/wp-content/uploads/home/top_wood_bk_repeat.jpg
Same for my Folder Data URLs
Uploads folder: /mnt/stor9-wc1-dfw1/630057/www.hmamembers.org/web/content/wp-content/uploads
Uploads URL http://www.hmamembers.org/wp-content/uploads
These are all correct. I have followed the steps but the reset database is not reading the folder directory (uploads).
I know there have been a few plug-in updates which I have done. One thing I have noticed, I updated the Media Library Plus lug-in the the Reset Media Library Plus Plug-in. On the Reset Plug-in I get an error…unfortunately I forget the actual messae but it is something along the line of Cannot Update Plug-in.
Would it be helpful if I deleted the Plug-in and start form scratch? Would I have to re-create my folder structure again?
Feeling frustrated but I like this Plug-in and do not want to give it up.
Hey John,
Send an email to Alan at maxfoundry dot com and we’ll get you up and running.
Also, what you are going through is the transition from our old folder management system to our new one. Most users won’t run into issues but some, like you unfortunately, will run into some problems.
But we think once you get 3.1.7 up and running, over the long term everyone will be a lot happier and it’ll be easier for new folks to get going.
Thanks!
Bob

John,
You will not have to start over. It is only a matter of cleaning up the folder table.
Please check what version you are using of Media Library Plus. What you should do is use the Media Library Plus Reset plugin that comes with the current version of Media Library Plus, 3.1.7. Run the Reset Database option that even if you have just run an earlier version of the reset plugin. Then download Media Library Plus version 3.0.12 from this page, https://wordpress.org/plugins/media-library-plus/developers/. Install, activate and visit the Media Library Plus page. This will rebuild your folder table in the database. If your folder tree fails to load, go on to the next step which is to update Media Library Plus to the current version. There is an additional plugin included in 3.1.7, Fix Media Library Plus Folders, which you can activate and run to see if that will fix problems loading the folder tree.
I have checked that both MLP and MLP Reset are at 3.1.7.
I downloaded the 3.0.1 version and on upload I get an error. This is probably due to the fact the Plug-in already exists in my Plug-ins directory. I assume Deleting the current MLP Plug-in folder and install the 3.0.1 version…correct?
Thanks for all the quick relies.
Yes, you have to delete the old plugin before uploading a different version of the plugin.
That did it. You sir are a genius 🙂
My directory hierarchy came back after downloading the 3.0.1, updated to the latest Plug-in, the directories are still there and I am a very happy camper.
Thanks for all the help.
