Hi @pennymachines ,
Could you please clarify which confirmation email you’re referring to?
Also, could you check your Junk/Spam folder to see if the email was delivered there? Sometimes email providers may filter automated confirmation emails.
Once we know which email you’re expecting and whether it reached your spam folder, we’ll be happy to help you troubleshoot further.
At the top of my dashboard in the main site of my WP network I see this message: “Please confirm your email by clicking on the link we sent to webmaster@mydomain.co.uk. This makes sure you’re not a bot.”
I don’t have anything in Spam – it might have been deleted months ago. Is there some way to regenerate it?
This is WordPress’s built-in admin email verification feature, not specific to any plugin. To resend the confirmation email:
- Go to Settings > General in your dashboard
- Re-type or confirm your admin email address and click Save Changes
- WordPress will send a fresh verification email to that address
If that doesn’t work, let me know and I can provide an alternative method using WP CLI or database.
