have checkt is with theme Twenty Seventeen and only the 2 plugins active:
– Maintenance Mode
– WooCommerce
without WooCommerce PayPal Express Checkout Gateway everything is fine. With active WooCommerce PayPal Express Checkout Gateway I got the error.

thanks for the message but before I grand You full access.Please know, start You should activate Maintenance Mode (with Plugin installed), that normal Users not can the store see as long as You test some things. Ok?

some remark in addition. I think, it can help You. Today in the morning I updated to the new version of the Plugin (Version 1.4.2) and found this behavior.
– If I buy something with delivering as physical product like a print, everything is fine, all necessary adressfields are requested correctly
– If I buy a non physical product (no delivering is nessesarry) like a download or a virtual product, only name and email address will requested, normal address fields (Street, City, ZIP-Code) will not marked as nessesary

Is your issue solved by just enabling the ‘Require Billing Address’ & ‘Require Phone Number’ in the plugin settings? (for virtual products)

– the option Require Phone works only for the the phone number field.
– the option Require Billing Address gives the error message “The “require billing address” option is not enabled by your account and has been disabled.”
