require notification not to translate

    Hi Nate, I just noticed that there’s a line that I cannot translate. If the phone no is required and not filled there’s a notification. It’s always in English and not translatable. I use Loco translate and already searched for the string. This one only resides at restaurant-reservations.pot. No use changing that one. Do you have some advice for me on how to change? the string is: “Please provide a phone number so we can confirm your booking.”

    Hi @drrob67,

    I just looked for the string in Loco Translate and didn’t have any problems finding it. Perhaps there was a typo when you searched or an extra space? Try typing just phone and see if it comes up.

    Hi Nate, thx for your reply. But I already tried that. When I search for phone I only get 2 options:
    – Phone
    – Phone number if supplied with the request

    Very strange.

    Is it possible your plugin isn’t up-to-date? It should be v1.7.6.

    Nate, its ip to date. Is there an alternative to change it?

    Hi @drrob67,

    Hmm, I’m not sure what’s going on then. It appears for me to translate when I use Loco Translate. Perhaps you could try to re-sync the translation in Loco Translate? You may follow up with them to see how to address this.

    Ok Nate, I found it. It seemes that I have 2 translation files for Dutch. 1 is a 100% an 1 was 97%. But that one was below all the other languages so I didn’t saw it at first. I really don’t know how this can happen but it is. So in the second one the translation was there and when I changed it, it worked directly.

    So case closed! Have a nice Easter!
