[Resolved] [REQ] Option to duplicate a recurring event

    @daedalon

    There is also a button to duplicate individual events on the front end events admin page. A similar button for recurring events would be a welcome addon.

    The need for this comes strongly from there not being an option to specify that a recurring weekly event would occur at different times on the days of its recurrences, eg. 9-18 on Wed-Thu, 9-16 on Fri, 10-16 on Sat.

    Currently

    1. Add a recurring event with title, description, location, and recurrences and times for weekdays.
    2. Add a recurring event with the same title, description, and location, but different recurrence and time for Fridays.
    3. Add a recurring event with the same title, description, and location, but different recurrence and time for Saturdays.

    The tedious part is having to have the original and the new events in separate browser tabs and to then engage in mindless copy-pasting to have an event where the only difference is the recurrence weekday and time.

    With the suggested Duplicate Recurring Event button

    1. Add a recurring event with title, description, location, and recurrences and times for weekdays.
    2. Duplicate this recurring event and change the duplicate’s recurrence and time for Fridays.
    3. Duplicate this recurring event and change the duplicate’s recurrence and time for Saturdays.
