Hi,
I found the answer for the question I was looking for: how to pull the category id from a url, but the code you linked to in your answer is no longer there (the actual add_filter code to put into my functions.php file, I have the link to the wpsl_dropdown_category_args list). Can you repost this? I’ve tried everything I can think of using the category_args list as reference and can’t get it to work on my own.

Hello again,
I was also wondering if there is a way to pull the category id from a url while still using the checkboxes instead of the dropdown. Obviously if it is possible, it would change the code needed so I wanted to ask before you answered my first question. It would be nice for people to check multiple categories when they are searching themselves.
