What do you have so far in your SQL query?
Do you know what table the data is in? Or the column names in that database table that you need to select?
You don’t have to use WHERE if you don’t need any limiting of what’s returned by default.
I found another solution, just didn’t have time to figure this out, but it looks like an amazing plugin.
Sure, glad you got it figured out. Also, Pods has an exporting feature for Advanced Content Types built-in, which was ported over from this plugin π
If you want to use it, go to the Pods editor and go to the Admin UI tab, there should be a number of actions you can enable, one of which is ‘Export’.
We’re planning on a revamp of this plugin to make it easier to use as well as build it on-top of the Pods Framework so that you can just choose a Pod and what fields to show, and create custom admin screens with exports and printable reports.
that sounds great, but I don’t see an export option. I went into an Advanced Content Type, clicked Admin UI, but I don’t see anything that says Export?
Try the ‘Advanced’ tab, sorry, it’s been a while since I’ve explained where the option is π
So once I check ‘export’ how do I actually export?
‘Export’ will be a series of options at the top left of the admin screen of the Advanced Content Type. So go to ‘My ACT’ (or whatever it’s named) in the left-hand side menu, then you’ll see your normal list of items. At the top left of that table, you’ll now see the Export actions available.
wow, thank you so much, this is fabulous!!!
my first attempt failed, got an error message, but will try again and report back!
Sure, let us know in a separate post in the Pods forums if you have any issues there. Be sure to include the exact error message you get.
