    Hello,

One of my agency’s clients has reported a notice that gets thrown by WordPress from the WP-SES plugin. On line 90 of the main plugin file, there is a call to the WordPress method ‘get_currentuserinfo(). This method has been deprecated as of WordPress version 4.5, and has been replaced with a new method, wp_get_current_user().

I have submitted a pull request to the Github repository for this plugin at https://github.com/wp-plugins/wp-ses/pull/4. Would you be willing to review this update and merge it into a new release for WP-SES? If so, it would be great to know when you might anticipate the next release of this plugin will be submitted to the WordPress repository.

Thank you for all of your hard work and your contributions to the WordPress open source community!

    Best,

    Jeremy

    Hi,

Many thanks Jeremy for the notice.

@diglett, this was just a deprecated call, no hurry yet, but I applied the pull request anyway.

    It’s live.
