Renewal Taxes issue

Found it. On stores that enter prices with tax included, the subscription was storing the price as if it were pre-tax. First order came out fine, but on renewal WooCommerce added the tax on top again. That’s how you ended up with 30,75 € instead of 25,00 €.

Fixed for 1.8.28. Update, spin up a fresh test subscription, and the renewal should land at 25,00 €.

One thing to flag: existing subscriptions keep whatever amount they were saved with, so your current test one will still misbehave even after the update. Easiest fix is to create a new subscription once you’re updated. If you’d already gone live with real subscribers, get in touch and we’ll fix those up with you directly.

I was able to replicate locally. Your store has update prices on renewal switched on, which re-prices each renewal from the product. What I fixed in 1.8.28 was the path that creates subscriptions; this one had the same mistake and was still adding the tax twice. It was also overwriting your recurring total with the inflated amount each time, which is why it kept coming back.

Fixed in 1.8.29. This time I checked every place a product price becomes a line amount, found a third one, and covered all of them with tests.

Good news for your test subscription: since that setting always takes the price from the product, it will correct itself at its next renewal. Nothing to recreate.
