Hi,

I have wordpress installed on my raspberry pi. It is operational. At the moment I have to put in 192.168.1.100/wordpress to get to it.

Could someone kindly tell me how to make it so I only have to put in 192.168.1.100.

I plan to have this accessible from a domain name also.

Of course, you already have it in a subdirectory so that part is done.

In your case, you’ll want to treat the IP address much like you would the domain…

Hmm I have broken it.

I initially worked with just 192.168.1.100.. No /wordpress at the end.

I then changed the url to mywebsite/wordpress and the bellow option to just mywebsite (I have a domain name). It just redirects to my domains generic webhosting page.

I have it forwarding www quiries to my ip, and port forwarded to my pi.

When I put in my public ip I get to my website but content is missing and I can’t get to the admin panel.

You need to install it in your pi’s root directory.
