Removing White Space Having Inserted Toggle the Title Plugin

Good Morning

A few days ago I inserted the Toggle the Title plugin. I have the Twenty Eleven theme.

As a result, having manually keyed in an H1 title on various pages of my website it has left white space between the menu bar and the HI title that I manually created. It has done that not only for the pages where I have manually created the H1 title but also on the pages that I have not yet done so.

I have tried placing the following code at the bottom of my Stylesheet (style.CSS) which was a suggestion made on another forum but that has not worked: –

h1 {
margin-top:0px
}

Unfortunately, I have no experience of css work so could anybody help me to resolve the above problem.
