I have inherited this site and need to make some basic changes. I want to get rid of the carousel of images at the top, which I think are created in the Slick Slider plug in. When I deactivate Slick Slider, the carousel disappears, but the code is live on the site. I think it is inserted into the header, but can’t find the code. Help!

I haven’t tried uninstalling the plugin, but daren’t in case the code continues to appear and I can’t easily re-insert the slider.

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

  • Hello,

Just open your website with the help of FTP or with WordPress editor and go to :
    template-parts/header/header-media.php file.

I think shortcode is added in this file with the help of do_shortcode

    Hello @sonjasmithers

    Is there any update?

Hi, I’m afraid I couldn’t really follow what you were suggesting

    Hello,

    Thanks for the update
You can also find the shortcode by downloading theme in the local system and then you can search text like e.g [slick-carousel-slider from the entire theme folder

    Thanks
