Removing padding from images

I seriously don’t understand why each .png .gif loads with black padding around EACH image.

So I want each of these images to have a transparent background and they DO! If you remove them, save as, and then download to your desktop they retain their image transparency as well as remaining a .PNG.

But for some reason, the moment I load them onto wordpress Harmonic, they load with these damn black backgrounds. Can someone please let me know what is going on here?

Why won’t any of my .png’s load completely transparent?

a. They are not reverting to Jpeg because of the fact that they are still .png when you save them.
b. I save them in Photoshop as 8png and 24png with Transparency turned off without RGB.
c. I am updated on all ends regarding my wordpress software.

This is really ridiculous.
