Removing link from comments_number

Hello 🙂

I’m having a little problem with this code:

What’s doing is, when i click it, it takes me to a 404 page.
As this link ins’t important for me, i tried to replace the <a> tag with a <h1>, but it removed the number, leaving only “comments” as text.

Is there other way to, at least, deactivate the <a> tag?
