Removing items from Profile form

    Hi

    I’d like to hide the meta fields that appear under the username at the top of the Profile page – I’m not sure how they’re chosen, & they’re just duplicates of entries below. I’d also like, if possible, to edit the options that appear on the settings gearwheel. None of the options in Settings/Appearance seem to do these things.

    Apologies if this has been covered elsewhere – I’ve not been able to find it, yet would have thought it would have been!

    Back again – I’ve sorted the appearance of meta fields under the heading; I obviously hadn’t read the tooltip saying ‘Fields selected here will appear . . . etc etc’. My apologies.

    I’d still like to edit that dropdown, if possible, though.
