Removing Buttons from banner. Using template

Hi All,

I recently found a template that fits my website pretty well (even though It needs alot of customization done to it). The problem is that there are buttons in the header of the template. I need to know how to remove these.

I figured removing the code that makes new pages appear as buttons on the header would work. I tried looking at the one of the php files for the code, but NO LUCK there.
