Removing Advanced Media Offloader

    I’m just starting with advanced media offloader – thank you for creating it!

    Thinking through possibilities, if i have all my media offloaded, and then decide I want to re-hydrate the media library and remove advanced media offloader, is there a way to do this? I don’t see anything obivous.

    Thank you for using Advanced Media Offloader!

    Currently, the plugin does not have a built-in feature to automatically download files back to your server. If you wish to remove the plugin and re-hydrate your media library, you will need to manually move your files from object storage back to your server. This can be done using a tool like rclone or by downloading the files and uploading them to your server manually.

    The good news is that Advanced Media Offloader does not modify your database. Once you move the files back to the server and disable the plugin, everything will function as normal.

    Additionally, we are already working on a feature that will allow the plugin to automatically bring files back to the server in a future update.
