• I’m using Cloriato Lite and wish to remove the two content areas on the home page. (Home Page Feature Area 1 and 2).

When I remove the image and leave the fields blank, it defaults to the system’s default image and text. So, I’ve uploaded a blank image and used spaces so nothing appears, but “Read More” still appears and the space left is quite large. I don’t wish to use this area and would like the quickest, easiest fix possible.

    Thank you for any help!

  • Cant say Im familiar with that theme but it doesn’t fill me with confidence if the area cant simply be disabled and not shown.

So if that’s not possible you have two options. Either edit the homepage template file and take out those areas or use CSS to hide them.

Personally I’d probably edit the template file so it doesn’t get loaded and speeds up your page. However if you update the them you will lose the change.

But really the theme should have the option to disable an area and it then should not show.

If you want to do the CSS route then add this to your style sheet or use a plugin to add css to your site:

    .home .feature_content {display:none}

    Hope that helps

    Hi There,

I’m a new user of WordPress. And I have a couple of questions on how can I customize a website, or a particular content on a website.

    http://familylifechiropractic.com/

Link provided is the website and in the bottom part of the website you can see the gray box there with an image and a quotation inside of it. Basically, what I wanted to do is to put that purple box at the middle and the image on the left aligned with the quotation. Is there any way I could do that?

    I hope someone could help.

    Thanks!

@ana I think you should start a new topic. But yes being programming there will be a variety of ways you can achieve this.

You should clarify what you want however. Do you want image then quote the n purple box? Or do you want image then purple box then quote.

Doesnt look like they will all fit in a row to me.

    Hi wptweaks,

Yeah, were you able to see and check the link of the website I provided on my previous comment?

There’s a section on that website particularly located at the bottom with the gray background on it that has a purple rectangular box, just below of that box there’s an image and below the image there’s a quotation.

Basically, what I want to do with it is to align the purple box in the middle, the image on the right and just right after the image it should have the quotation because how it looks like right now is kinda awkward, very unorganized.

Just in case you may have time to check the website so you would know what I’m talking about, please click the link provided below.

    Thank you so very much!

Yeh I looked on the link thats why I asked the order you wanted them and mentioned I dont think they will all fit in a row.

Id have the face image on left, quote on right net to it and purple box underneath in middle.

The theme does not have the ability to disable. I’m taking over managing this site from someone else, or I’d simply change themes. This theme has been a major headache and I cannot get support.

Do you know if there is a way to add a background color to a Widget?

Please post any questions regarding this theme in the theme’s dedicated sub-forum: https://wordpress.org/support/theme/cloriato-lite
