Remove 'www' from sub-domain network

    I have a network installation, where during the setup of a subdomain network the ‘www’ was left on. There are a few hundred blogs set up on the network.

    Is there a way to safely remove the ‘www’?

    I have updated wp-config.php ‘DOMAIN_CURRENT_SITE’ and ‘domain’ field/column for blog_id=1 in wp_blogs table.

    Has this crossed all the ‘t’s and dotted the ‘i’s – or can I expect further problems down the line?
