remove the /wordpress/wordpress

    so i have a site. mainelyconnections.com when i click on my home button it goes to my home page… but that is listed in the url as mainelyconnections.com/wordpress/wordpress
    How do i change it to just say home or nothing at all

    Goto settings > general and try changing your site address 🙂

    Thanks for the quick reply keith.. Unfortunately when I did that it was correct.. it listed the correct url.. maybe its in my sql somewhere?

    Looking at the browser source code and the fact that the entering the domain name by itself points to the correct location I am led to believe that the wrong URL may be entered in the menu settings.

    Goto appearance > menus and inspect the ‘home’ menu item. If it is not listed (auto generated by theme) you could create a new custom menu 🙂
