How to remove the bottom advertisement of the plugin that adds a line at the end of the site?

Please see the faq: http://www.ultimatelysocial.com/faq. You click on “Remove credit link” under question 2, next to the email icon.

I don’t see any such topic in the FAQ

You’re right, we still need to add it. Please do it as suggested above: under question 2, next to the email icon, on the right, there is a link you can click on to remove it.

Question 2 is “What do you want the icons to do?” and under that there is nothing like you describe.

OK I found it, good place to hide that (on a screen with high resolution and windows scalling that link goes under the other texts. I understand why you’ve put it there but you can guess that a lot of people send request questions to the theme developer because of your intrusive addition of a banner into the site’s layout. You should consider removing that isn’t this against plugin development guide?

It is not against any WordPress rules. You agreed to have it placed when you removed the email icon.

Just out of curiosity – what is the relation between removing the email on one hand and an action to add a banner on the other (again – it is a banner, not just inserting a text where WP’s credentials are supposed to be and so – you are changing the site’s design and layout)? It’s just a nice trick to insert your link into user’s site and it is really annoying.
Anyway thank you for the quick support.
