Hello!
I am wondering if there is a function I can add to my child functions to either remove or edit the sharing button tooltips.

I would like to remove (or edit) the text that appears when hovering over the sharing buttons if possible.

Hi!

That is actually caused by the “title” found on this line:

https://github.com/Automattic/jetpack/blob/master/modules/sharedaddy/sharing-sources.php#L72

the only way to remove it would be to edit the plugin file, and your edit would then get over-written every time we update Jetpack.

Another alternative is to do so using jQuery, as suggested in this thread:
