which file in the editor is the license tag Make: A wordpress theme… I am looking to delete that line of text.

It is /wp-content/themes/make/partials/footer-credit.php

Nooo, don’t modify that theme directly, when you get a theme update you will lose your work. Create and activate a child theme instead.

Sure 🙂
You can easily download basic child theme for Make from
https://thethemefoundry.com/tutorials/download-child-theme/

Then you have to create directory in your child theme “partials” and copy footer-credit.php file there and modify it in this place.
/wp-content/themes/make-child/partials/footer-credit.php

Yup! Already have a make child set up so I will add that folder. Thanks for being so helpful.
