• Hi everyone,

new to wordpress and to the forum, so I am hoping this isn’t too daft a question to start with!

I am using GoDaddy’s managed wordpress service to create and host a new website. I downloaded a theme (Charm) from Theme Forest.

The problem I have that I just can’t solve is about the contact template on the theme. It looks great, but the form itself doesn’t show up on the “forms” list and so I therefore can’t link it to my email.

I can add a new ninja form and link it to my email with no problem – but I can’t get rid of the form that is embedded in the theme – so i end up with two forms on the page, one that works and one that doesn’t. The embedded form isn’t in the forms list, and when I try to edit the page there is nothing anywhere that links to the embedded form.

Hoping someone can help and make sense of my question.

Appreciate you looking and look forward to any constructive replies.

    Peter

  • Hello Peter,

Actually I know ninja and stuff but never tried GoDaddy “one-push” button Wp setup. So, I guess I can’t help sorry.

But that’s the common issue with “all in one” stuff and “one click” button, you often end up with things you can’t fully customize unfortunately.

Really, for example if you have the bucks try something like Digital Ocean(easy) or the free Openshift one(quite hard for beginner).

Anyways learning the ins and out of a lamp server is always good, after, some managed wp hosting are very good too because they only do that.

Hope it shed some little lights,
