Remove/Disable rewrite permalink slugs

Hi there Team,
Well, the question is in the title and fairly simple: how can I remove or disable the rewrite rules for the events permalinks?
I want my events to use the WP custom permalink structure I set “domain.com/event-category/event-postname” with the specified slugs when creating categories and subcategories within your plugin.

I’ve seen some other related topics but they’re old and I think there should be an option by now, because when we have many categories and subcategories it’s not very URL/SEO friendly to have static slugs.
