Remove copyright Infomation

    Hello all,

    I am new to wordpress. I want to develop a commercial website and I want to remove copyright information from footer. Is it leagal to change or remove copyright information from themes. if not please let me know from where i can get themes with legal permissions to remove copyright info.

    Or you could simply make your own theme.

    You can remove links from themes (that part is allowed) but the copyright on that work does not belong to you.

    You can modify and distribute themes that you have made changes to but you cannot represent someone else’s work as your own. The credit for their work has to remain intact.
